Arizona mini session's {Phoenix area}

  I recently booked a boudoir event downtown Madison and no idea how the outcome would be.  I have booked them individually for ladies before but never a mini session event with lots of ladies coming all day.  I picked a date found the hotel and started advertising.  I was booked solid in 2 days!!!  For it being my first time hosting this event I don't think it could have gone better!  The room and view were perfect!  All my clients were gorgeous, friendly and fun to hang out with.  We breezed thru the session's and editing was even faster the the event itself!  I think I found my new passion!  I still love wedding's, families and Senior session's but this really sparked something inside me.  I have always had big dreams and really never shared how big with anyone in fear of laughing it off.  But I am very driven and love what I do so it's not really even work right!?!

This winter my family has chose not to take a winter vacation and stick some money into our house which sounded great in the fall but now it's the end of January and we have lots of snow yet to go.  So after thinking about how I took a chance on boudoirs and it turned out great I thought, what if I can take a working trip to Arizona this winter and see my 101yr old great grandma (she will be 102yrs old in April).  So here's my big brain storm called 'Operation Alice' (my gram).

Babies {Madison Family Photographer}

This week my littles and I haven't been feeling the best.  It's been a very slow week and somehow I am still chugging along at my to do list.  We have a home renovation project coming up and need to be all cleaned out and organized before we demo.  I am also a little ocd and take organizing to a new level, which usually ends in me telling my husband we need more shelves...everywhere haha!  Anywho this weeks to do list was edit last weekends session's, taxes, clean out back room(scary mess after the holiday's), start selling baby stuff, catch up on blog and play games and go for walks daily.  Well it's friday and that list is accomplished baby!!!  So I rewarded myslef with a nap today and snuggled with my 2yr old in the 4yr olds bed (yeh were wierd...the 4yr old wanted to sleep in my bed) I woke up feeling glorious and my migraine gone.  I thought now was a perfect time to blog about all these cute babies as I keep peeking in on my my sleeping baby...(2yr old)...

I have also convinced myself as I am selling baby stuff, if I get baby fever I just need to schedule extra time for session's with babies and steal a few snuggles from them!  There is some ridiculously cute babies in this post!!  Be prepared to fall in love with them.  I'm also hoping this is late enough in the day that my poor friend who is finishing up her first week back at work doesn't see her handsome baby here and cry (sorry Liz)!  But look at how tiny sweet little Jack was not that long ago!

Love is in the air {Madison Photogrpaher}

Last year I was much more vocal in the best times of day to shoot for light.  Obviously it doesn’t always work out with schedules and events, but those are my favorite times to shoot!  Seniors sessions at sunrise have been a new favorite and they are a little more used to getting up early.  Engagement session’s at sunset are great with the warm golden light and always my favorite way to end the day.  One engagement session was even adventurous enough to have a sunrise and sunset session (on different days).

And here’s some fav’s of the lovebirds I got to hang with this fall:
