Clean slate

There has been a lot of spring cleaning going on in my house this past few months.  I go thru this every time I leave the country and see how people live with out so much CRAP!  So many things that we just don't need, toys, cloths, junk.  I want my kiddos to appreciate the little things and help those in need.  So we are going thru everything in every room and deciding what we really need and what we could give to someone who may need it more.  I must say this is very therapeutic and I hope I continue to do this yearly!

My boys and I have gone on many adventures around town and are getting further and further from home with only a stroller or bikes.  When I was young we lived in the country, my sister and I would run in the woods all day making forts with ridiculous names and riding our bikes anywhere we wanted to go.  We swam, fished, learned, laughed and loved...probably why we are still best friends with that solid foundation.  I wish the same for my kids and think the start is less stuff, more play and imagination.

I recently deleted a ton of 'Google+' pics thinking they were just filling up my storage and going to effect my gmail.  When I came to the coffee shop tonight to edit, I realized there weren't any pics on my blog!!  As my 4yr old would say "wah wah".  So I guess I am spring cleaning the blog as well!  This is a nice clean slate and I still have my portfolio up on my website www.shannonlundphotography.com.

Cheers!

Jossalyn {3 months}

I had the pleasure of photographing Derek and Jessie's wedding and I saw how much love and respect they have for each other.  So it was a nice treat to meet this beautiful little bundle they made!

Miss Jossalyn was the happiest little peanut, after an hour long drive to Madison she showed up ready to perform!  Here's just a few fav's from our mini session last month.
