Back in the saddle again

Well hello, if anyone still follows me!?!  Its probably not recommended to disappear from blogging for over a year!  At one point I considered getting rid of this blog all together.  I can't write and I let that stump me here every time I go to post.  But then I thought about how this blog is chance for people to know the real me (the one who can't write for crap but man can I tell a story or two!).  So I will apologize now for any bad grammar...and only now because I have embraced it and I hope you can too lol!!  P.S. I'm very quarky maybe weird...but I like quarky!

So here is a fresh start to my blog, I will share my passion and not much else here so you can truly see me.  If you would like to follow me on facebook for a more diverse image selection you can do so here https://www.facebook.com/ShannonLundPhotography/

To sum up our life- we moved last summer and have been settling in our new house/town since.  Lifestyle photography has been a hidden love of mine for a while now because of the emotion captured in candid photography and the story it tells.  Here is a chapter in our lives...

 Saturday morning legos...#2 usually needs help from big bro.  And the pup clearly wants to go out!

 Now to play with his own legos...
 The shadows are back.
 Real life...this is a very typical Saturday morning...

 What we do while big brother is at school...

Shaymus O'Doodle...he's the man of the house during the day!

 Meet Dublin our newest family member.  He joined our family from the Humane society on May 5th and we love him to pieces!!!  They say he is a Chihuahua/Terrier mix, we think he is a 'chipit' (Chihuahua/pit-bull) such a little lover!

 I thought it would be a bit yet before I learned something 'kids are doing' from my son...and yet this right here I had no clue was called the 'dab'!???  Side note- he loves Christmas so much he wears red & green together anytime he can, and as much as I can appreciate the complementary colors (I also can't!).
 A little fun fact about me...my dad was also photographer!  This little name sake of his sure is taking a liking to photography.  Let's hope learning on film is more helpful than expensive!!

 I warned you...I'm quarky!  And secretly hate my picture taken solo but when my little protégé asked me to smile how could I say NO!? {Photo credit: Joseph Thomas Connors Lund}
